Identifying Some Common Anxiety Symptoms

January 29th, 2010 · No Comments · lonely and desperate articles

Alarming bulletins regarding medical and health cases such as  cardiac arrest or seizures appear to be coming to light all over our radio lately.  TV and radio commercials inform us what to do if we feel light headedness, fainting, numbness, and so forth.  But, seldom will you see a commercial breaking down common anxiety symptoms, which is pretty demeaning considering so many us have them and are often confused by them.

Feeling anxiety symptoms is very common in our modern culture, where we get faced with stressful events on a frequent basis.  Whether it is the concern that we might be off-course in an uncharted environment or we’re going to be late for a meeting or if the phone rings out of the blue, we all face panic at some point in our day.  Thousands of people however could have anxiety symptoms for what appears to be no cause at all, and could confuse these symptoms with the symptoms of experiencing a stroke or some other medical condition.  People who suffer from anxiety attacks frequently confuse these symptoms.

Anxiety disorder symptoms are clearly different for everyone, and usually it’s clear that they’re just feeling anxiety – right before speaking on stage, when we’re about to marry, when you open your front door and see a weird looking stranger standing there; these situations could easily make any of us tense and panic ridden!  But for many of us, anxiety symptoms can also include shortness of breath, heart spasms, nausea, chest pains, irregular breathing, tingling or numbness in the fingers, face, or toes.  Stomach aches, and headaches are not unusual either.  You can appreciate how these conditions could simply be confused with a heart attack or asthma or any variety of other conditions.

If you get these anxiety symptoms on a frequent basis, and especially if they tend to happen for no reason, you should probably consult with your doctor.  For starters, you may want to eliminate the potential of it being a heart attack or something that dangerous.  After that, he or she can prescribe medications or therapies that could help you live with the anxiety symptoms while simultaneously working with you to determine why you’re tense and anxious to begin with.  You could have some chemical imbalances in the brain or could need to incorporate a few new positive techniques on how to mentally process stressful situations so as to be able to reduce the flaring up of an anxiety attack before it gets really bad.

I managed to beat my panic disorder after years of struggle and pulling my family through the nightmare with me.  The cure I used was completely natural, medication-free and didn’t require expensive counseling – I’m overjoyed to report that I’ve been free of anxiety for a few years now, I only wish I had discovered it years sooner.
