lonely and desperate

Jim was a shy guy and did not know many people that were in his department even. However, the music festival was coming up soon and he knew that he wanted to go. The problem was that everyone that was going would have a date and he did not even know who to ask. He thought of one person that he could ask and had been wanting to talk to her for some time.

Kim was her name, but he was not sure if she would like the myanmar music festival or not. Heck, all that he had to do was ask her if she wanted to go or not. If she said no he was not out anything at all other than asking a simple question. He decided that the risk of asking her was well worth the benefits.

The problem that he had now though was figuring out when to ask her out. He decided that the lunch hour might be the best time possible because she usually sat by herself. Then she would not have all the distractions of the office bugging her.

When lunch arrived she was sitting in her normal spot off by herself. However, this time no one was around in the cafe even so he knew that he had the best chance to ask her. He approached her nervously licking his lips and hoping that he was making a wise decision. He gently asked her if she wanted to go down to the peninsula plaza music festival this weekend.

She smiled back and nodded her head yes. At the same time saying that she would love to go down there early enough to catch the myanmar movie as well. Jim was not expecting the movie idea, but he absolutely loved the idea of being able to spend even more time with this beauty.

He shocked himself as he walked back to his office with a smile on his face. He was not expecting her to say yes, but at the same time he was happy that she did. He was finally able to go to the festival with a date rather than having to make up an excuse as to why he did not go.

As the evening drew to an end he knew that it was the start to a beautiful relationship that he could enjoy for many years to come. The one thing that he was not expecting was the marriage proposal that he would be making a little over a month later.
